Ebola Virus Awareness

This is a more serious thread, in case you didn't hear of this.
Ebola is a very contagious, very dangerous virus with no current cure. It kills very quickly and is in rich outbreak in Africa. Unfortunately, a man with this virus came to the USA and it might spread. One is in New York and the other guy with ebola is idk.
Please comment if you know anything about this virus! Awareness must be spread!

It's a good thing the virus isn't airborne or it could've turned into a pandemic like the H1N1 virus a couple years ago. Seems like they have an experimental vaccine that they're testing in humans now, which has shown to work on monkeys. I personally think it's not going to be a problem in the United States since it's most likely to be a bigger problem in unsanitary country's.

Happily my country is one of the rare african countries that didn't get the Ebola virus.
It is extremly dangerous Though!

ok seriously guys the people in question are incredibly well contained and are working on a vaccine as we speak, it's not like they're gonna flop the infected around america and be like HI HI THEY GOT EBOLA WHO WANTS IT!!!!
besides, it's not airborne like gamegamerlol said so even if they DID the only way you would contract it was if you french kissed the infected

Only 2 americans have it and are being treated, hopefully it wont spread around America! Lets keep our hopes up and wish for a CURE..

it's kind of sad how this has plagued not-so-big countries for a while and has killed many people and then 2 Americans get it and all of a sudden a cure is being researched. well, as long as the cure they hopefully eventually find is given to the people in other countries as well.

it's been stated many times that this virus is only spread through very direct contact so theres nothing to worry about. dont cause panic where it's not necessary.
