Hi, welcome the the NGE thread! i didn't found any other threads about this anime, so i decited to make one, since i thought it deserved it's own thread.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (in short, nge or evangelion) is an anime created by Hideaki Anno and the anime was shown the first time in 1995.
The story is is about a 14-year old boy named Ikari Shinji, who has to pilot an eva to defeat the enemies people call "angels".
The series has one tv-series with 26 episodes (the one made in 1995) and 6 movies, including the rebuilt of evangelion-movies. It also has a manga (duh) which was finished in 2012.

Basically, if you know/watch anime, almost everyone predicts you have seen this one, due to it's popularity.
