,,2NE1 is a four-member South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. The name, pronounced to anyone or twenty one, combines the phrases "21st century" and "new evolution.[1] The band consists of CL, Minzy, Dara, and Bom.

First appearing in "Lollipop", a commercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Electronics, 2NE1's debut single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009. Since then, the group has released two eponymous extended plays, 2NE1 (2009) and 2NE1 (2011), and one studio album, To Anyone. Their first EP spawned the number-one single "I Don't Care", which won them the "Song of the Year" award at the 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Their follow-up singles, such as "Go Away", "Lonely" and "I Am the Best" were similarly successful, with "I Am the Best" winning 2NE1 their second "Song of the Year" award in 2011.

2NE1 officially debuted in Japan in September 2011 with a Japanese version of their second extended play as Nolza. Since then, the group has released one studio album, Collection, and two physical singles in Japan. In 2012, The New York Times named 2NE1's performance at the Prudential Center in New Jersey as one of the "Best Concerts of 2012" .In October 2012, Zack Greenburg of Forbes Magazine noted that 2NE1 has sold 27 million digital downloads.''

The first member of 2NE1 is Lee Chaerin(이채린),spelled as ''Yi Sherin'',she is the group's Main Rapper and Leader.She was born in Seoul, South Korea and spent much of her early life in Japan and France, where she learned English, French and Japanese.In 2009, she debuted along with YG Entertainment label mates Sandara Park, Minzy and Park Bom as girl group 2NE1.She has an solo song in 2013 ''The Baddest female'' and this year on their new album ''CRUSH'' a solo song ''MTBD/MENTAL BREAKDOWN''.

The second member is Park Bom(박봄) spelled as ''Bak Bom''.Or Jenny Park,was born on March 24, 1984 (age 30) in Seoul, South Korea as the second daughter to her family.She eventually moved to the United States where she learned English.She is the Main Vocalist of the group.

The third member is Sandara Park(박산다라),spelled as ''Sandara Bak'',also know as Dara.She is the face of the group. She first gained major popularity on ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest during her stay in the Philippines. Her younger brother, Park Sang-Hyun, better known as Cheondung, is a member of boy band MBLAQ under J. Tune Entertainment, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment.She is 30 years old.

And the last member and the younger,with 20 years old,Gong Minji,know as Minzy(민지) is the group's main dancer.She was born in Seoul. In 2009, she debuted along with YG Entertainment label mates CL, Park Bom and Sandara Park as 2NE1's main dancer, lead vocalist, lead rapper and maknae.
Her duet song with CL, "Please Don't Go," peaked at number 6 on the monthly Gaon Chart in November 2009. With 2NE1, she has released two extended plays and two studio albums.
