On November 1, you start writing. Not a minute too soon. Take all of October to plan, but don't write a word of your actual novel. The fun is the blast of everything, the silliest ideas you come up with, and the idea that you'll be able to say that you have indeed created your own novel. This should have most everything you could ask about. But if you have more, you can post here. This will be my tenth year participating, so I know the ins and outs very well. :3 The site should clear for new novels this week, so prepare yourselves~ Haruhitastic: DM |

Cool. I'm also writer. I'll try. But I have a question. a dit : Can we write on Turkish language and use words like "ş, ü, ı, ö" ? And who created this? |

NaNoWriMo was founded by Chris Baty and is now run by the National Novel Writing Month Foundation (previously known as The Office of Letters and Light). And yes, Turkish language is fine! You use your own programs to write (OpenOffice, Notepad, et cetera), and then when it's validation time, you paste it into a box and it counts the words. For reference by the way, here's the Turkish region. However it seems mostly English. :s |

Um, three more questions. Who will choose winner? And, Are there prizes for Turkish people? Last, will we write it on computer? And Can I translate and open it on Turkish Subforum? Dernière modification le 1412760120000 |

The first two questions can be answered here. Your third.. you can do it however you wish. A lot of people do it by notebooks then transfer it into a file for validation. Most do it on computer. Yes, feel free to translate this thread. c: |

Hey everyone! It's that time of year. Bumping up to say that the website will be cleared for new content October 5, 2015! If you're wanting to get planning, now's the time to do it so you don't feel rushed! (I already am. :D) I'd also like to mention for the younger crowd around here, this little thing called Young Writer's Program. If you wanna suggest it to your teacher, point them to the educators portion of the site ;) For the YWP (which is for writers under thirteen), you can set your own goal, so if you don't think you can manage 50,000 no worries! The default for YWP is 30,000 but can be set as desired. Dernière modification le 1442009340000 |

I remember seeing this somewhere before maybe someone showed it to me one time before I dunno. Anyways I might try the YWP since I'm not over 13 yet so might as well start brainstorming now. |
