Over-sensitive is like, not wanting to eat food or throw away things because its cute or an animal or something.
I am. I didn't want to eat my chocolate bunny for 2 reasons:
1. It was a bunny.
2. It was cute.

i've always refused to eat my chocolate bunnies because of the reasons you listed.
even the christmas chocolates, i would refuse to eat those because they look like santa or frosty the snowman

One time my when i was younger, my mom gave me balloons that i could fill with water, but they were regular balloons, so they didn't snap when you threw them at someone.
My friend said i should throw them away, i did, and after that i felt so guilty. Man i cried and even bought new balloons to give to my mom
I also can't eat meat cause i know it used to be alive

but I used to be as a kid, I cried over paper being torn, balloons being popped, marbles being cracked, etc because I felt sorry for the objects

Let's just say that I do have a heart for inanimate objects.

but the only thing i'm sensitive about is my favourite pillow and a lot of plushies.
my whole leif as a child was full of plushies and I"ve grown a lot of sympathy for'em

One time at school I saw a dead squirrel and naturally I freaked out and everyone made fun of me for it

totally agreeing with this

talking in the category about chocolates, as long as it taste good I have no hesitation to eat it, because I am rather picky on what i like, specially on chocolate and sweets.

But talking outside the box, I am rather sensitive to sound and light, maybe because i maybe part of the category of "autism spectrum disorder", but i cannot be certain.
Other than that I get affected by the atmosphere of a location easily, lets say if the place is rather dead silence with that pinch of anger, it is easy for me to feel that tension.
Really uncomfortable.

in primary school we had this program where if you behaved well you got a star ticket and when you got a certain amount you could turn them in for prizes
i couldnt hold mine for some reason (no pockets or smth) and i asked my friend to put it in her pant pocket
i eventually forgot about it and when i remembered it my friend said she put her pants in the washing machine
i felt really fucking guilty that i looked like i was having a nervous breakdown

so yeah i get lost about little things
