| I just decided to search up a coin collecting thread, but surprisingly there wasn't one! So here I came to make one. You may share pictures of coins here. You don't have to be the one to coin collect, because there might be someone in your family who actually does coin collect. I came to coin collect in late March so I am still a starter. I saw something about coins on a website and I said "whoa i didnt know coins were this interesting" Go on! Chat! The earliest person we know that started coin collecting is Roman Emperor Augustus. The Lincoln cent is the first U.S. coin with a president on it. *post some facts in the thread if you want them to be added up here!* US Coins There are many types of US coins, there are more than these in the picture! My personal favorite to collect are the Lincoln cents.  - Canadian Coins Canada coins are pretty in my opinion. I just love how some coins have animals on it. Canada retired their 1 cent in 2012, so you probably won't be seeing 2015 Canadian cents :P  - Foreign Coins There are more coins in the world, there are bunches of them. Of course I can't fit all the country coins on this page, so I just decided to make a foreign coin section. I found a 2000 10 Pence coin at the laundrymat a long time ago. Isn't that weird? I live in the USA too, so how did the British coin get in our laundry change?  - Ancient Coins Some people have coins from a long time ago, going back to B.C.! Some of these coins have weird shapes and not in the center pictures, but that is normal.  |
