| Today I found a new game called Virtual Popstar. You can create an avatar, perform, travel to different countries and chat! You start off as a bathroom singer, but you will become more famous. At the beginning you go through a tutorial, so I don't really have to explain anything. If you need help, just ask me! Here is a video of one of my favorite youtubers playing this game. Make sure you hire security. ● You need to log in to Virtual Popstar every day if you don’t want to lose fans. If your fans don’t hear from you daily, your fans will walk away and you will lose 1% of your fans. (there used to be a way to hire paparazzi to make other players lose fans, but i'm glad they deleted that.)  Hiring a manager will give you many benefits: Personalize your forum posts with a personal forum banner and background colour + a personal background to your profile Start a POLL on the forums, your guestbook or blog. Achieve the levels: Living Legend, Queen/King of Pop. Earn 20% more fans for all personal performances and tours. Perform 6 times a day in the same country instead of 3 times a day. And… you will get the unique star player badge behind your name!  You may also become a VIP Sponsor... Like admins have red highlights for their posts on the forums, you can make your posts highlighted yellow! Every Friday, you will get a unique item given only to VIP Sponsor members. You get a diamond icon by your username to show everyone you are a VIP Sponsor!  CREDITS + POPDOLLARS Popdollars are the most important currency in the game. You can earn them by playing games and doing performances. Credits are another currency in the game besides Popdollars. You can earn them by spinning the wheel of fortune, your voting link or buying them with real money.  There are many things to do on the Fans tab. You can post a message on Twitter or Facebook once a week. This will help you earn fans and popdollars. The number of fans and popdollars limits to your rank.  You can also release an album. You must be on every day of the week and travel to the certain country to complete the album release. If you forget to do one of them, your album release will fail. This will not affect any of your fans if you fail.  You may also hire security/bodyguards. These bodyguards last for a week. If you don't buy one, you will lose 1% of your fans daily. The number of fans lost depends on your level. On Bathroom Singer, you only lose 1 of your fans. When you rank up, the number gets higher. Bodyguards cost popdollars to hire.  Last of all that wasn't explained in the tutorial, you can launch an advertising campaign. You have 3 campaigns to choose from. Flyers, Newspapers and TV promotions. The price or percent of fans you get doesn't matter on your rank.  Here you can change things on your account. You can find the account settings button on the home page or your profile. |
