Sentinel here! Please do not link the Search Bar. This suggestion is an addon to that, which is allowed! Thank you! BTW thread owner, I'm renaming your thread to make it a little more obvious, sorry.

for the record, i did see the suggestion on the search bar, and have been hoping for this for a while. I also saw that it is planning on being inserted in the future. I would like to add however some ideas.

1.) on the section in the forums where you can go to all of the different categories, at the top, there could be one search bar. This search bar could search anything from a profile name to a thread name to a key word. Maybe users could even have a section to type in any key words that can bring other readers to their thread. I am aware that this was already brought up in the other forum, but i thought that i would make it clear that i believe that this is an awesome idea.

2.) What hasn't been mentioned, however, is that in each category (suggestions, tribes, etc...) a new bar could be added up by the page numbers. You could search in the same way that you would with the main one, except it would only search in that specific category. I understand that i did not give the best suggestion for location, but there are also other places where it could go.

3.) lastly, it would be nice if you cuold search multiple things at once, you could search something with a capital OR in between two things. (example: Blue OR green. This would bring up any threads with the words blue or green in the title, or with one of these two words in the key word bar.) This way if you have some indecision about what to search, or you want to find something with both topicsit will be a lot easier to find whatever you are looking for.

I hope that these additions to the suggestion on the forum search bar can be looked into, as I think they would be good ideas.
