Sometimes things happen that shouldn’t have happened… Hawkstar was the creator of Lightingclan. Most importantly, he used to be a rogue. He heard the stories of the ancient clans, Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Windclan, Riverclan, and Skyclan. Then one sunrise he decided to create a clan of his own. He gathered Kittypets, and rogues that liked the sound of the clan idea. He had to decide a name soon. He focused on how his cats act, and to see their qualities. He was almost tempted to call his clan Treeclan, due to the fact that all the cats were able to jump higher than most. Then a storm came and lightning revealed. His cats weren’t scared at all and started running with the wind. After the storm passed, he decided to name his clan Lightingclan! However, there was a major problem. He only knew of Kits, Elders, Queens, and Apprentices. He was oblivious to Leaders, Deputies, and Medicine Cats. He also still had the name of Hawk. Starclan finally found the new clan. They taught him the ways and ranks of the clan, the warrior code, and the new names. He took the name of Hawkstar, granted by his new 9 lives. Hawkstar taught the rest of his clan the ways of Starclan, and his cats finally believed in Starclan. They found another rogue who dreamed of strange cats who looked like mist, and she became the medicine cat. Her name was Ivyfall and she lived to see the clan grow. Hawkstar chose his deputy who was named Emberstrike. Lightingclan always has their difficulties, but they pass like the storm that named them. The quick-witted cats and fast runners formed what they call…Lightingclan.
Lightingclan was made on January 2nd, 2015. We have thrived through the time we have had the clan! The difficulties of Leaf-bare or wars, you name what we can go through! We fight like warriors, and we value every cat in the clan! We are strong and fast runners, and nothing stands in our way! Every cat is wonderful and we enjoy their company! Now it is time for you, the lucky cat who is reading to decide...
