During lunch, me and my friends made something super awesome for this girl in our grade with cancer. She was in the hospital for chemo today. Her favorite animal is a penguin. We took a cardboard tube and filled it with newspaper. Then we covered it in black paper-mâché, and we made it a tummy and cute little feet and wings, and its eyes are HUGE and its beak is super tiny, and it is the cutest thang.... we made it a little tophat and everything!!! We are gonna give it to her when she gets back on Tuesday. It made me feel amazing inside. It really is better to give then to get. <3
