Remembrance Day

This is a little late, but on 11th November, those who fought for their nation and died doing so are remembered and honoured. Mainly those who fought in World War I, but other wars as well. This celebration probably varies from region to region; in my country, it's celebrated with Royal Parades and most importantly by wearing a poppy.

Memorial Day is an American holiday celebrated in May.

I probably should've named this 'Armistice Day' since that's the international name and it celebrates the armistice of World War I, 'Remembrance Day' is just for Commonwealth countries.
It's not the name that matters though.

I thought yesterday was Veterans day

a huge thank you to the veterans that served for the united states, especially the ones that died in action
this country would likely be entirely different without them, and thank you to the other veterans in other countries for serving your countries as well
