i don't use outlines but i always do accessories first

i always colour the body first.

But I mean, it's not like youre not gonna color them in later

I color in the body first, because every single time that I do the eyes first I either forget to color in the whites or color over the eye... and it pisses me off

i color the items first most of the time
but other than that i usually just pick a color and color in whatever matches the color i picked

then accessories
hair
and last the eyes

and if i want to, color the lines too

my specialty is lineless art...

ANYWAY, the one I do first is normally the structure of the face, and I only add the eyes and stuff when I finish doing the structure of the thing I'm drawing.

when i feel like doing more than a sketch, i believe i usually start with the neck, then the head, then the eyes, and so on
