You know how things that lower in stock sometimes, after a few years pass, they become massively popular? People begin to resell them for ridiculous prices and become collection pieces.

Do any of you own any toy or item that has become valuable as the years passed? Have you ever considered selling it or auctioning it off?

i have the physical copies, with the actual art on them, in almost-perfect condition.
i showed my copy of pkmn crystal to a friend bc he said he's never seen a physical copy of it in his life

i checked out the prizes for those 2 games on ebay
some people were selling them for $300+

i'm not selling or auctioning those games, they're special to me and it's nice to know people would actually spend a lot for those games

well, i have these things called LPS (littlest pet shop) and i've been collecting them, but not so much nowadays.
they can spread from 2007 to 2012, since these models/looks don't even sell anymore.
and the only store that sells them is called Toy Safari, and they sold used ones. But some can be in bad condition, and some can be in good condition.

I've actually looked at amazon and some old/popular ones cost for like about 100 dollars or something


i dont think its that rare but
a Gameboy advance that barely works lol
and that started my nintendo colors to go red

I still got Windows XP

Not really for me but my Mum owned an original pair of Adidas Gazelles when she was younger and a bike called a 'chopper' that can go for about £200 on auction now

i still have this old nokia phone sitting on my drawer, i wish i could use it again for diamond rush </3
and a broken windows xp that used to work 2 years ago

I have an very old lps

and I drew on most of my lps when I was little..

and little did I know that they were be valuable some day..

I have a gamecube with some games that I doubt exist anymore
I also think that my brother has a gameboy colour somewhere
I haven't checked how much they're worth though, probably $10 total.

Not really. They've dropped in value as of two years ago.
Too many people started selling at the same time when they had learned it was still of value. Though there might be some late buyers now...

not rly mine but my dad bought a ton of marvel comics when he was a kid (1960s-beyond)
for now im able 2 keep em in my room

hardcover editions of some of my books and panda coins from china

Shining Registeel card from a while back, worth around $30 for just one card, pretty sizable. Lots of random First Editions too. Pokemon Crystal, as well as a plethora of GameCube/N64 games, among the likes SSB Melee, DDR Mario Mix, Pokemon XD/Colosseum, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, and some others.

i also have the regular wii, which is now retired im pretty sure, so, but i dont think it sells for alot but shh thats fine bc i love my wii oops
