Voltron is an entertainment franchise involving a giant mecha known as Voltron, with several variations, notably being adapted from the animes Beast King GoLion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV with an English dub put over it. This is mostly known as 80s Voltron, since the 2016 Netflix reboot, Voltron: Legendary Defender has brought a lot of attention to the Voltron franchise.

Here was the original design for the Voltron mecha:



Basically, Voltron is composed of 5 mecha lions each piloted by an individual person combined together.

There were variations of Voltron after the first release of the animated series- Including Voltron: The Third Dimension (1998), Voltron Force (2011), and Voltron: Legendary Defender (2016). Since Voltron: Legendary Defender seems to have quite a large fanbase, discussion is most likely going to be directed toward it.

The latest reboot, Voltron: Legendary Defender is a Netflix series produced by Dreamworks and World Events Productions and is animated by Studio Mir. It revolves around a science-fiction universe and follows the adventures of the chosen five paladins who pilot mecha lions whom must work together to take down evil forces, known as the galra empire, who destroyed several civilizations and enslaved many alien races. The Lions were originally scattered around the universe, waiting for new paladins to be chosen, while the castle of lions and the last Alteans, whom their race was destroyed by the Galra empire, were hidden on planet Arus to prevent the the Galran Emperor from posessing Voltron.

Season 3 is also about to be released on August 4th-

There's a kid at church that continually tried to have Voltron battle the Doctor.

They both are good guys.
So why are they fighting?
I think they would work together to solve the problem, not fight each other...

season 7 came out and i bawled till i couldnt anymore

so good. no confirmed ships as of yet, but shiro is confirmed gay. hoping that after 7 seasons of queerbaiting, the 8th will bring lance and keith together. of course, im not an avid shipper but i do believe that out of all of them they have the most chemistry.

if you've watched season 7, id love to hear your opinions. i feel like the season shouldnt be judged solely by the character deaths and queerbaiting. i want to put it out there: they did confirm shiro as gay, which usually never happens in a childrens' tv show.
