How is it going everybody? If you are having trouble with any of these debuffs, look this thread to get help

How to survive Wave!

Ok, so this one might be confusing at first, because this one will make your notes swivels around their fall line but what you have to do is check the direction the arrow points before it falls on arrows, it might help a little bit. If not, look at the arrows like if you were on SHORT debuff.

How to survive Speed!

This one will make your notes go twice as fast. This is a bit less like a debuff, instead it helps you get more perfects to be in 1st place. Unfortunately, some people says it goes too fast and they miss the notes. So, all i have to say on this one, think fast!

How to survive Short!

This debuff will make your notes appear only near the bottom of the line which might take you by suprise if you tought the song was ended right now. So do not look at anything else, only watch carefully about 70 pixels over the bottom

How to survive Blink!

This debuff might be confusing too, because it will make your notes appear for one second then disappear for one secon then repeat. You might not always know where the notes are. Try to keep track of your mind on where the arrows are when they appear/disappear. Will be unlikely to confuse you with SPEED debuff

How to survive Wind!

Actually this is the most confusing one, because this one will make the notes go out of the rectangle then come back from the other side. Once they returned, they aren't alligned right on their tap area. You might not always know where the arrows go! The only thing i can tell is: mind where the arrow points before it goes to the tap area

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or trouble, ask me in the comments

Before Rotate changed to Wind, I solve all of debuff like way to solve Short debuff.

But now debuff Blink is the annoying the most because when is + with my extra debuff "Lag", It turnout a flashing arrow :( ( And I missed a lot )

@Linhhaboy

Try to keep track of your mind on where the arrows are when they appear/disappear.

If you still can't do it, i cannot help you. :(

You are one of the greatest players I ever admired but i think you can be more descriptive.
For every debuffs, your eyes have to focus one a spot.
Even without debuffs, for beginners, looking near the line will help you, graduattely looking somewhere at the middle is the spot you need to look at.

Short and Wind are about the same, where you concentrate where it appears (for Short) or when the arrows starts to calm down (Wind).
For Speed, your concentration should focus much higher.
Blink would be slightly lower, with loads of memory work, especially when there are loads of arrows. Counting as you hit your arrows might make you look stupid but it works.
Wave and Rotate (if it ever comes back) will be the same as No debuff but you only have the remember which sides are which arrows.

But there is no point worrying about debuffs if you cannot feel the music first. Playing music related games like FFR, beatmania, O2Jam, Cytus, Deemo etc can help you as you feel the on and off beats.
Because once you do not concentrate totally onto the placements of notes, you can get the hang of it, and as you play on, you can start training yourself for perfects.

I was going to post something here about where u focus your eyes but i got lazy and you done it for me
for wave i focus to the right of the outlines because thats where they come in from and then don't have to pay attention to which way its pointing

All I can add to this is;
Practice makes perfect.
Play a lot, and by the time you'll get better at handling the debuff.

@Kimmeh yeah but this does not mean that people practitce the debuffs as you dont always get the same each song so its hard for them to practice

This is why i put this thread

You don't really need to get a specific debuff multiple times every round. Doing it once or twice every song counts as practice, even if it's for a few seconds.
But hey, just adding to the post..... not replacing what you posted, so no worries. :P Your post is actually very good and might be helpful for beginners. *thumbs up*

Yeah, I think this guide has a bit of a lack of detail.
I think I'll help you out. You really need to tell the people when they're supposed to be pressing the notes to get perfects. To do this, you gotta make them understand how each debuff works. I'll think about editing this post with my input.

Uhh I'm not sure if they got rid of wind and speed since i was on holiday but how do you survive that? Speed I get a lot of perfects on and I'm good at wind too but together is literally hell xD
