Why the hell can't you change the scroll speed for the notes? I know Nekodancer is a new game, but isn't that a basic feature? I know that It isn't a big problem for anyone who's new to these kinds of games, but as someone who plays rhythm games a lot, It's a big problem. The notes go soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow. Anyone else think so?

Im thinking the same.
It is very frustrating to see the notes sliding down in 60bpm or so

Or what is the basic bpm?

All we can do right now is be patient about this.
Neko will eventually have to increase this speed if we're going to have custom tracks. In addition, if it wants to keep the speed powerups, hopefully people who use the track at super fast speeds won't get completely screwed over by a speed powerup.

Also, it was stated in an earlier post by Melibellule that flash handles high speeds very poorly.

So we're not going to see much out of the increased speeds until we can get over the limitations of all the lags and bugs in this game.

Umm... to be honest, it does give that 280 BPM "song" a major part of increase of difficulty, even streams that go in 8ths. (8 beats in a bar)

wolfclawgem a dit :
Because they have the Speed Up power thingy.

StepMania also has this in it's Magic Dance mode but you can still change your speed.

how about the speed being synced to the BPM of the song maybe then we can play something that's in sync and people can PFC charts more often.

well maybe.... but really some of the songs i play are 24ths and 32nds so i wouldn't be suprised if there are glitches.
IF this happens

i agree
i've played rhythm games in the past, and i like to hit the arrows on beat, like on the other games i've played
but you really can't, as it'll mess you up, plus it's too slow..
that's a reason why i don't play nekodancer very often..
