This is a question to the players with skills that are above-average or higher (so basically you can just pass kdm).

Do you do any warmup songs before you begin playing? Is it on Transformice itself, or on some other rhythm game? What songs do you do? Recording is not required, but it's welcome!

Personally, I used to do Harvest, but now Hatsune Miku's Head Exercises seems like a pretty good map to use.

Nah, not really. If anything, I'd count the first song playing in the room as the warmup song since my score wouldn't be that high because that song is already halfway over with. That's enough for me to get into the groove.

I would never consider myself good at rhythm games, but I do need to warm up if I want to have enough concentration to make a decent attempt at harder songs especially if doing them blind.



@Notsokaito I also have that song. I've nearly FCed it on challenge. If I tried hard enough I could probably pull it off.

Here's a few vocaloid-oriented songs since we're on the subject. I didn't record the vast majority of them unfortunately. I'm pretty okay with the vocaloid songs. The only really scary one is disappearance of hatsune miku and denparadigm.



E: Yep. I just tried doing Sadistic Music Factory straight away and I couldn't even do it, because I hadn't warmed up, and even when I AA'd it.

Anyways, I guess I do like playing Osu! a bit to get myself into the mood of rhythm games, but I don't do that for Nekodancer, mainly because I feel all music'd-out afterwards if that's even possible.

I have found a song in Nekodancer that I like to play though, it's moderate in terms of difficulty. If anybody is curious:

Nekodancer IS the warm up for me lol. 280 Kdm is the warm up for me and a few songs to play with the others and then im off to harder songs in Flash Flash Revolution (FFR)
