this isnt really a discussion thing for everyone, seeing as nekodancer has been out for over a year ( it was made in july 2014, i believe. ) and so a lot of players have been able to be really good

but on topic of " why is nekodancer so hard ", it just takes practice. i remember when i was new to neko and i thought " omg i cant do this " and i practiced alot with my friends and eventually got better, just takes some practice.
