Is TFM Dying? |

Auroraclears a dit : You would be surprised how many people at the time of Tig's announcement of the system was hyped about it. The community at the time wanted to have more variety in shamaning and the way Tig presented the entire system as a system of choice where you could choose what type of shaman you wanted to be. However no one expected the grinding needed to get those shaman levels and those who played TFM more than others were at an advantage in terms of the system and when the skill system started to bring a divide in the community, especially in minigames such as Shaman, survivor where if you used the skills instead of relying on your thinking and reaction, you were considered a noob. |

Players come and go, the game lives on. |

Many players left because there's nothing they have something to do left or is because they grew out of it. The Turkish server has gone extremely popular because it have alot more activities then any other servers. Plus you only need Turkish language to understand them. In my opinion, its ok, not dying or growing.. Every day the same 30-50 thousand mice are online or more. Depends on what time zone you are in. Usually Europeans are online from 05:00 GMT - 02:00 GMT the next day. |

Recycled events, number of players online removal from the login screen… These, it seems to me, are strong signs of TFM shutting down within a year or I think I've gone too far. Dernière modification le 1487951280000 |

Ykr a dit : Agree but there are lots of improvements and updates in the game. I think the end won't happen in one year... maybe in few more years... |

Ykr a dit : This pretty much. The last new event was the vegetable garden event which started at the end of june. Since then all events have been recycled with barely any new prizes at all. TFM definitely does have some plans for the future such as deadmaze, fraise ads, adventure points etc along with more plans, Alot of their big plans have had to have been canceled recently due to negative reactions from the community as many of the changes they've made contradict one another and in the end nobody's happy. Overall, TFM has been doing down hill due to a heavy lack of new content which leads to drasitc player decline and cancellation of plans due to these players leaving. I believe it's called the snowball effect, Where one thing leads to another. Atelier heavily focusing on Deadmaze leads to a lack of new content, a lack of new content leads to older players leaving, older players leaving leads to changes having to be made, negative reactions to these changes leads to more players leaving, these players leaving to the games overall strong decline and sadly, an eventual cancellation of transformice. It may not happen in the near future, but with the way TFM is currently going, it really is inevitable. Dernière modification le 1487954820000 |

Superglo a dit : They didn't, it's just that they aren't vanilla anymore and almost never appear. Noctoc a dit : If you dislike skills - just don't use them, mostly they just speed shaman building process. They can break some maps though and many are complaining about survivor. Farm cheese like usual, don't buy fraises and be proud of yourself that you spent time to get your reward. I know a guy who never bought any fraises, but has every fur (probably) and instantly buys the new fur once it is released. He seems quite devoted to tfm. I usually play with the same certain group of people in private rooms, so the game is more like a chatbox to me. And no one is complaining there. Dernière modification le 1488035160000 |

Xconvictedx a dit : CFM has been dead for quite some time now. It's just a forum/leaderboard connected to Transformice. There's a new website now that is similar to CFM. Also, I'm getting quite sick of these nonstop events. The skills don't bother me so much, but they do make shamming so much easier and that in itself is annoying but also helpful. 2010-2013 were the best years for TFM. The fraises wasn't so much of a problem, it's the fact that events are no longer fun when all you win is a title and a badge. The older events were fun to play because there were actually things worth playing for, such as exclusive shop items that you could only get through events. I understand that TFM needs money to keep servers running, and fraises are great....but it's to the extent where EVERYTHING is fraises purchasable. I liked the exclusive event items. They were silhouettes in your shop, and you collect a certain amount of X in order to unlock it, similar to a title. Events like this would get me to play a little more. The 24/7 events I believe are the real issue. Someone on Anvilgod said that if the admins are using 24/7 events to keep the game "fun" and on-going, there's clearly a problem that needs to be fixed. <- 100% agreed. Keep events, but break them up instead of one after another. There's a reason they are called "events", they shouldn't be happening all the time. Only on special occasions. |

Ash198 a dit : Same with the RO Cafe. Grincreep a dit : Guess that's what they realised in the end so they renamed them adventures lmao Agreed. They're reserved with the events they made last year as a "proof" that they didn't forget about TFM and that they're still developing it, so they keep having these non-stop to show us how updated the game is; When they're the same (Valentines didn't even have any new title). Not to speak about game updates themselves... Not happening as they used to. We used to get weekly or one update at 2 weeks back years ago. Now we barely get anything now and when we do, it happens once at several months. The lack of communication they also recognize exists is unreal. If you would look around at other similar indie games, most of them are having weekly Q&A sessions, where players ask devs anything about the game, future updates etc.; Monthly "Paroles de Dev", weekly updates, are very active and talkative with the players on Forums... To be honest and without willing to make our devs feeling bad in any way, that's exactly the opposite of what TFM does. When Sydo was here, I remember how she always spoke to us, even made announcements threads at 1am her time when there were issues with connection to let us know. It's very sad to see this lack of interest from admins, either that or they can't make us see they're still interested in TFM. They got started on DeadMaze and probably thinking "Oh, we're gonna release a super interesting game, zombies, areas, wooo! Who cares about some mice now, after A801 and we all are here because of them"? <<<just kidding. i think. E: I'm 70% sure that if Sydo would still be an admin and see this, she would actually answer to us and explain what's going on, see why we're mad etc. Dernière modification le 1488039300000 |

Grincreep a dit : Nonstop events create pressure only for people who wants to collect everything and every title. If you don't like the event - don't play it. Go afk, make some tea, while your team struggles to win :D Also, do skills annoy you because people don't want to play hardcore without any skills like in 2010 and prefer easier way? Or they annoy you because you want to play hard without any skills but you are tempted because it would be much easier with the skills? :D I can't really understand why people whine about it. |
