I decided to start this thread ONE MONTH before the next Map Making Contest!

So, here, you can post Categories you would like to see on November's Map Making Contest. You can suggest ideas, Categories, new Map making updates...

Please stay as in-topic as possible and remember... It's all about Maps Bab! c';

Dual shaman
Trap maps(I love them)

Collision
Lava
160 * 20 grounds only
Dynamic non-fixed-rotation grounds
Treadmills and elevator grounds
An unusual route which normal mice won't take
All grounds must be of same rotation
Horizontal symmetry

I love shaman maps that add huge twists and make for interesting solus.

Collision - Done
Lava - Done (in a separate, prize-given contest)
Unusual Route - similar to shortcuts?
Christmas - Done
Dual Shaman - Done
Trap - Done

Nothing wrong with already done categories but they're gonna seem unoriginal if they're chosen for the contest.
Symmetry sounds nice.
Science shaman is a category I've voted for before \o

There's been a symmetry category aswell.

I think there should be a Comic Category! :D

For example, we can CHOSE a Comic character/ anime and just make a map that consists of it. OR, they can CHOSE the comic for us (Tom & Jerry) for an example and we create the map. :]

Dun tell me this is unoriginal because I'd suicide right after.

Love map.

1. Treadmills
Now that treadmills are easier than ever to make with joints, it'd be nice to see what creative uses mapmakers can find for them in their maps.

2. Nightmode
Nightmode is seldom used in a successful map, but that doesn't make it impossible. Temple's @327447 uses nightmode ingeniously, for example. It would be nice to see more maps utilize this rarely used feature in more clever ways.

3. Pulleys
With the introduction of joints came an entirely unexpected feature: pulleys. While it's been possible to simulate a pulley system through more complex mechanisms before, it's now super easy. It'd be cool to see what innovative uses mapmakers might find for this system--especially making visible pulley strings with the c property.

4. Furniture
Just going to throw a wildcard in there: furniture. Some mice stuff has collision with mice: tables, chairs, and sofas. I've seen a few very neat uses for them; one of which being Infactimacat's @2687328 (currently hidden because of the background layering issue). So, for this category, mapmakers could only use two grounds and everything else must be made with furniture. The end would likely be very decorative as well, because I suspect furniture wouldn't be the only thing used from mice stuff.
