This might have been suggested somewhere but i didn't know.

Ok, so this other day when i got confused with the Christmas maps some mice told me to whisper a Helper. I found that a pretty good idea and the Helper could answer many questions.
So after that I went thinking. There were many newbies around and the tutorial room wasn't really helpful (in my opinion). They just tell you something which is pretty obvious.

My point is, i was thinking, why don't transformice have a room for newbies ( /roomnewbies )? The tutoral mouse can "bring" the newbie to /room newbie, where there might be some experienced mouse to teach the newbies? This way, if 2 newbies happen to enter tfm together and go to /room newbie together, I'm thinking they wont feel so lonely cos there's another newbie.

So i hope sydoline or tig will see this and call for mice who would want to help the newbies. When they are online, ty can just pop in to see if there are any newbies.

Also, if there aren't any mice there to help the newbies, the tutorial mouse can send the newb straight to the full game.

I know this isn't much difference from the tutorial, but i thought the newbs would be more at home if it wasnt the only clueless mouse there. Maybe the helper there ( i thought should be called Newb Helper or something ) can teach the newbie about the walls and how to walljump, sham and more.

And then, the room can also only have the maps designed for newbies. Not too complicated perhaps. Like there are different walls to trying wall jumping, some maps emphasizing on corner jumping, or some teaching how to pass a short lava map and so on.

I guess this might not be a very good idea.

If i have wasted your time, I'm really sorry. I just thought these newbies would feel better with OTHER newbies, and they can slowly learn together.

This is a really complicated request and its understood if no support because i also found myself doubting this would be possible while making this lol.

Support. Wouldn't you need to mae a tribe or some kind of group to keep the skiiled players together and able to communicate?

Due to the possibility of those helpers only going to the room to help themselves, I'd prefer seeing an updated extended tutorial as is suggested somewhere over here too. Still, I agree with you that the current tutorial is far too short.

There is already tutors, and a new idea for a tutorial that is getting really popular. But i think this would be a good substitute if the others things don't work

As said, people who are not newbies could go there for their own benefits. Also, the fact that newbies cannot find someone to help them on their own is quite unfortunate for them. I have helped several without the need of a special room, and many figure it out themselves, as I did. There's also a helpful thing called Tutorials. I know our beginning one isn't very good, but Youtube is a very helpful source. Also, as said before, a better tutorial has been suggested and will hopefully be made and added.

Won't mice that are not newb just use that room for firsts? Because newbs cannot get firsts unless there VERY lucky.

I hate how some people call others noobs and stuff just because they're new. There should be a button for mice with under 50 cheese that says 'Call for Supporter', and then a volunteer comes to help out that person.
