this suggestion should say for example when your in the philipines and its sunny the map would show that its sunny and when its stormy the map shows its stormy simply by just using the keys ctrl+m+w lol control the map weather this would work if you have high connection or this picture

while editing or making a map the word weather today in settings beside portal will show what weather we are having

ok i understand its very hard to calculate the weather how about there is a selection of what weather in like what weather you want to calculate? then you chose philipines and philipines is sunny so the weather is sunny

Except this will close the window for anyone playing on a browser (in Windows, at least)

I prefer having weather as a map editor setting (as suggested - Topic-153688 ) over having weather similar to the weather at your own location.

And yeah, there's the ctrl-w problem and various people complaining about useless effects causing them to lag.

This wouldn't work for everyone in the world. Possibly only the weather in France? Then again, it would create tons of lag.

They should be have weather stations everywhere, and they should had to look were every mouse is. This will never work!

Actually there are plenty of API's out here that make this easily possible, it'd be horrible for the servers though, and to be honest I wouldn't like it raining all the time ingame because I live in England.
