In the forum, I believe that bookmarking your threads is important. It gets confusing after a while if it slowly becomes inactive, and one day you end up losing it! Bookmarking your threads will also help so then you may go to your bookmarks and check to see if anybody responded to your thread.
This is only a suggestion I thought up while wandering the forums.
