Okay, so my friends and I have been trying to play music / videos in the tribe house, but for some reason, it just appears with a black screen, with no video. Is it a bug or is it just the video?

It means the video is banned in your country, say a video is allowed in china but not america because it was banned there. This would make what you described happen.

Do you guys have permission to play music in the tribehouse?

This is a glitch that randomly breaks the tv for some or all mice. I have found no fix other than simply waiting for it to work again.

They don't allow music in baffbot. But. Maybe thats the cause, thet took it out because of copyright.

Yes maybe its not from your country depeds on where people live like mousechris said if its available in china people who are in china can play the video and they can see while non-chinese cant i think

There was once a bug with Tig's standalone (If you're using standalone), that didn't play any videos.
Just use a different browser besides Google Chrome and you should be okay.

-But there would sometimes be a chance where one of your members try to play a video that is banned from your country so..

The point is that they removed the music because of Coppyright, And I'm saying that the music could of been removed because of copyright ¬¬

I had this problem and I got it sorted. Check these things:

1. You have the right to play videos.
2. Make sure that the link starts with http and not https or something like that. Just put the link in the box that pops up and go and check and if it is something like https then just remove the s.
