I don't know how many suggestions there have been for new mouse grounds (since the new forums or in the past), but I would like the idea of a "permafrost" ground. This means that if you stand on it for too long that you will freeze to death. :D I know that not everyone will like it. Not everyone will support this idea, but there are people who do. And it is something new and interesting. You might say that there is already lava, but you can't exactly stand on lava. You could stand on this, but not for too long. If you love Transformice, you have to give in to new ideas and experiences. I think that this idea is something that would alter the way we play a bit, but would create some fun.

I like the idea, It would give map makers a new way of making maps, and maybe, they'd die after like..

30 seconds?

I can already see something like this:

sept the ground that goes down, could be the Permafrost ground. XD

Yeah! It gives TFM some more excitement, imo. You have to go faster, it's a bit tougher. It also gives other mice who aren't as good as .. say Temple to make some more interesting maps. For the time limit, I think that would be something the TFM team would have to consider themselves.

Sounds cool. I think it would make things interesting...
I'd like to see what maps people would come up with using that ground.
What about if someone jumps while on the ground? Would the "timer" for their death be reset? Or would it be like once you touch the ground, you will die, regardless of whether or not you get off it...
Just something to think about lol

Good thinking, Foxxyyy. To combat that problem, .. you could "lock" the mouse to the ground. In other words, if you really are freezing, you lose control of your body (your fingers, etc.) .. and you can't move as fast. Soooo, by that, you would be restricted to only cross or if Transformice could do this .. then have the jumping problem solved by applying a "zone" around it.

Or maybe if you touch it, you have a set limit of time to live. That is also a good idea.

Ah I see what you mean. Yeah that's a good way around the problem lol.
So once you touch the ground, you can no longer jump, just walk across it...right?
If that's what you meant then I think it would work. Sounds cool :)

Now that I think about it, I think the timed death would be better. And maybe if there was lava in the map, it could "reset" your life by "warming" you up. Just throwing ideas around. ;) I don't know if it will ever really be considered. Just thought a new ground would be fun. :S

This is a great idea :D

And it should be where when you touch the ground, your 30 seconds are counting down, but when you jump or walk off, and get on again, it doesnt reset, just picks up from the last time you were on.

*more fun

This idea is super cool, I hope it gets implemented so we can see more awesome maps!

Also it would be cool if you could change the time limit for each, like setting it to 10 seconds or 90 seconds or whatever shiz you want. But under 10 seconds shouldnt be allowed.

Hmm. How about there is a “Warm Up” timer too?

It gives you 15-25 seconds before you die of frostbite, either that or you jump somewhere else before you die. When there are maps with the Permafrost, there would be a thermometer to see if youre dangerously cold.

Once youre out of the ground, it should take about 7-10 seconds for you to warm up again, and the thermometer would show youre getting warmer. If you leapt back onto the Permafrost ground before the 7-10 seconds were over, the ground would freeze you quicker, since youre weak from the last time.

I also think that there should be a limit of size of the Permafrost ground. Someone could simply troll others and make a map only of Permafrost ground.

Besides that, /Supportt c:
