Tadame a dit : Mmmhm, it's an anthro cat (explaining why it's more human-like; human legs, arms, stance, etc.). Helpful redline; although this character has no tail, heh, so that's why i didn't add it. |

Well this is a nitpick, but the headphones aren't level. Also this is my preference, but those shoulders seem a bit square, don't you think? Edit: The head also seems a bit big, since I can see the shoulders, as well. This whole critique is really preference but I had to e.e Dernière modification le 1404867540000 |

Okay so since I'm yet again critiquing a headshot (headshots almost always have nothing to critique)... Here's my total preference. Again. Since it isn't a WIP, I know that it's your style, but the sketch lines really take away from the whole image. Especially the eye and top-of-the-head bars. They just seem to distract me too much from the main drawing. (Also can you come on TFM if you're online) |

Sadlelight a dit : This piece isn't too bad overall, but there are some things you could improve on. First of all, the eyes aren't symmetrical at all. Since I assume you are using MS Paint, you can always use the lasso or select tool to copy and flip it over. The scarf doesn't flow like a scarf would. It seems like a hard collar some something C: I would suggest to look at some pictures of scarves as reference. Again with the headphones, you can copy and paste them over. Also, I noticed that your lines are kind of shaky, and yes, using a mouse to draw does come with practice. You might find using the curve tool or line tools a bit easier to handle. I mean, when I draw in MS Paint I still do. HOpe this wasn't too harsh ouo ;n; |

Sadlelight a dit : Did.. Did you use the picture for the Draw the Mouse Above you? You seriously put the picture of me in it? ... Ok. But anyways, it's beautiful. Try doing smoother streaks though! |

Supastarx a dit : Okk this is a bit of a nitpick but that tail is rather fat, mouse tails are usually thin |

Wingedmousie a dit : I dont think that's nitpicky, if it is a mouse, I do think the tail needs to be thin ^^' |

It's also a style choice and if someone wants a fat/fluffy tailed mouse it is their choice. Lots of the "famous" artists around these parts draw thick tails. Will you tell them they need to be thin too? q: |

Supastarx a dit : Both the arms shouldn't be on the same side of the body, it just looks weird. And yes, the tail should be thinner (maybe). *This may be a bit nitpicky, but I think the ear should be a bit higher up on the head. Dernière modification le 1405193880000 |

Zakryah a dit : *I may be completely wrong but this is what i think it yeah* Let's Flip it :DD Yeah you can see that right arm is out of place The neck base is not centered. If you move your way however, your neck base stays in the same place unless you have scoliosis. Also the shoulder on the right sort of starts too far. If you move it in, it might look better. He also gives off some kind of midgety feel. Males are usually around 6-7 heads tall, but of course Jimmy Neutron is one of many exceptions. Females range around 5 heads tall, which you did well. Ya ok im gonna go hide in a hole. |

Sirusthemice a dit : I don't mean to sound rude but the problem with it is that the action she is doing is not really possible. And even it is possible, her action should make her feel uncomfortable. Sometimes doing the gestures of what you want your character to do can be helpful. It gives you the thinking of what's the maximum flexibility of our body and make us understand if the posture makes us at ease or in pain. Lifting her right leg like that would soon make her leg feel tired, putting its hell on her left toe makes it much relax. However to turn your feet in that much of an angle will give discomfort. Also if i was to relax my right hell onto my left toes, i would not be able to rest my right elbow anywhere. Even from your picture itself, you can se her elbow is not on her kneecap. I mean furthermore is not possible anyways. So the only thing you need to change is your posture of her legs or even the whole figure. best to start with different sketches and choose the one you like the most. Try doing the actions so you understand your character's feeling ouo/ other than that, for my personal preferance, maybe draw an armchair and wrap her tail around it just want to say love the outfit design btw :3 |

The eye is going over the hair, that's my biggest issue with it. Feel free to go on about how it's a "style" or whatever, but it's not a good style. I also notice there seems to be no sign of the hind legs, it's like the cat is a blob on the bottom. Take a good look at this. Sure, it's kinda blobby, but also too you have a slight sign of feet. I also don't think tails work like that. I know cats are flexible but I feel like that'd be quite painful. |
