Plus I'm fairly certain there is no 4th of July or Thanks Giving evnt (the developers are French).

You know it'd take a bunch of work to get all the events going on at once in just a few weeks. Besides the events to make the game active, it is also to add some fun to the game at different times of the year, so having them all at once wouldn't be exactly 'fun' if you ask me.
