Don't get me wrong... I honestly don't mind playing with people from other countries, especially when they can pretty much understand English and speak it right back.

However, it gets really old when every day I log in, the chat is being flooded with everything BUT English. I thought EN2 was an English-only server? I play on there with the intent of being able to actually have conversations with people while playing, but that can barely happen due to the chat being spammed with other languages (and no, I'm not disrespecting other languages... it's seriously flooding when they post the same thing over and over).

AND YES, I know to just mute them, but I shouldn't have to on my home server, y'know?

The idea of servers is so that we can all communicate and enjoy discussions with each other, but it seems like EN2 is just being taken over like EN1 was.

It even says, in this forum, "EN2 is English only and it is strictly enforced. Any player speaking a language other than English will be redirected to their home community or EN1.
Please keep in mind that speaking English in communities other than EN1 or EN2 can result in a warning or mute." Although this never seems to happen.

I've talked to a few people about this and we agree that some kind of universal translator would be nice, but it'd be just another thing to cause unwanted lag in the game.

So, fellow mice, what do you think?

I started reporting for a few days, but nothing happened. The same players day to day keep coming back, still lacking English.

Not to mention the SAME players were reported over and over.

It was part of the reason I stopped playing for so long.... Then I came back with high hopes for EN2.

What is most likely happening is the Mods are taking priority reports (such as hacking and such) over reports of wrong language/spam or whathave you since its less of a dire threat to the game/player.

All you can do is mute, report, or go to another room/server and hope for the best .-.

That's the problem... EN2 is full of it, so another room doesn't make a difference and EN1 is worse. Going to another server other than those is just asking for the same thing I'm getting now. :P

If you are only using the ./report, it might be better to just whisper a mod.

My luck would be they'd eventually get tired of me (assuming I'm one of the few actually reporting) and just ignore it. x-x

They would probably only get real tired if you get annoying about it (like whisper them the same message 5 times, break up your message into 5 different whispers, be an ass). If they didnt want whispers they would either be silenced or offline.

I suppose so... It's just getting old. That's all.

Ive been in EN2 before. I didnt notice.. I'll check on it at my alt

And yeah, a drink does settle the nerves a bit. xD

There are quite a few people who have been muted on the server, but tons of people haven't been. So, either they're not catching everything or people are getting around it somehow.

Or there are so many flooding them they can't keep up. If only I could find Holz's daily ban gauge...its like 1900 bans a day or something lmao...
