^^ the title says it all. for those still confused listen up.. So lets say you have a rectangle covering the whole gameplay are lets say for an art map. once your art is finished its time for the cheese :D. Well the cheese will stay in the back BEHIND the rectangle. Even if you press the "+" button that is next to the "z" isnt working. No matter how many times you press "+" it still wont work.. |

Restarting your internet or firewall or "something" won't fix it. This is known and I believe intentional, sadly. |

cheese's z never worked. the end c: th eonly way to 'fix' is use a background from mice stuff and then use the cheese, but this rarely works. |

Beavisjr a dit : Pfft. It will work if the cheese has the higher "z" then the background. c: It may seem like it goes over it but when you validate it the cheese shows. |

That's all fine and dandy but the problem is the Z level for cheese doesn't even increase, as the OP stated. |

Haruhitastic a dit : Maybe the cheese was at the highest Z level? |

But the Z level doesn't even move from 0. Atleast from what I tested (created about five rectangle grounds and the cheese, and the cheese Z did not move at all). Cheesehogga a dit : ^^^^^ |

It looks like you don't have any objects from "Mice stuff", that's why cheese Z isn't working. Grounts are different type of "items", so they don't count for cheese Z value or other values like for example "Shaman objects". If you want to make a cheese in front of a ground make it Foreground. It's the only way to put cheese in front of the ground. Another thing: If you don't want to make cheese foreground and want to be foreground make a background from "Mice stuff" it's the same thing in map editor like cheese, so it will work correctly. Only make sure that you have higher cheese Z value than background Z value. |

Cheesehogga a dit : It is to prevent cheese hiding behind bushes. ^^' Lamentxe, check this v Haruhitastic a dit : |

Haruhitastic a dit : I know, Z level didn't move, because you placed on the map only grounds not objects from "Mice stuff". Check XML in the second flag and see if there you can change this value :p <C><P F="0" /><Z><S><S H="40" P="0,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" L="800" X="400" Y="380" T="6" /></S><D><F Y="250" X="400" /><P X="300" P="0,0" Y="360" T="33" /><P X="500" P="0,0" Y="360" T="33" /><P X="600" P="0,0" Y="360" T="33" /><P X="200" P="0,0" Y="360" T="33" /><T Y="360" X="400" /><DS Y="345" X="400" /></D><O /></Z></C> |

Well, the Z level of the cheese is related to the Mice Stuff You have a bush and a cheese , is the Z level of the cheese is higher than the bush. it will show above it You have a two grounds , if the Z level of the first is higher than the other .it will show above it You have cheese and a ground, you notice that the Z level of them can be the same . Changing the z won't work. The ground will always be above the mice Stuff. The only way to make the cheese above the ground is make it foreground. According to the screenshot you took (if that what you mean). But if you mean that the Z level doesn't change , then follow what Lamentxthe said. |

Ok so I appreciate the foreground part. But this doesnt resolve the bug part of the z index for the cheese/ |
