It's probley because there were to many mice logged in, and most of the mice were changing there Hard Mode color, and so the game couldn't keep up.

I im talking no shaman colour, Normal mice colour c;

Are you sure you actually put it on? Or did you just "try" it on?

I've had this before. I've changed fur colour like you have, then doing emotes would change it too the old colour. I'm not sure why it happened, but changing room helped.

Known bug I believe.
