So yeah, having the game open for a few hours makes the official standalone consume ridiculous amount of memory. Was taking 1.2gb last night and now after 3 hours or so, it's up to 800mb.

System specs: i5 @ 4.0ghz, 12gb ram, win7 ultimate (64 bit).

I remember there used to be a memory leak in the past too, but it was fixed no?

Just a minor annoyance anyway, thought I'd let you know.

Um I've had that problem only once I think it has something to do with how your hardrive is responding to the game. Best thing to do in my Opinion is go to Command Prompt and have it reconnected to be able to have access to the game.

Thats how the problem was solved for me.

It's when the game (or more specifically, plugin-container.exe) takes up more and more RAM.

You don't have to uninstall anything, simply close the window or go to task manager and end the task, this will free up your RAM space.

In addition there are also different types of software free to download that with a click of a button will clear your room. I have it, but i'm not sure what it's called exactly. With search I'm sure you'd be able to find a good one.
