Please excuse me for not finding a more suitable title

I`ve looked around and there`s nothing similar to this thread
What the one thing that would make a difference between an old player and a new one be ?

I think it`d be the Shaman Showdown in my case, new players haven`t heard of it

You mean how you can tell the difference between an old player and a new player?

or the good old greenish blue background and wood ground maps
or the vallentine's event where you flew around as a cupidmouse and shot arrows in mice's butts

The broom sticks for the first halloween event (I wasn't there for that) and the first christmas event that was purely about giving and had the best vibe to it. Won't ever get that again now n' days.

Now n' days you'll.. Well. If you ask someone about these events I bet the majority won't even know what you're talking about.

Purdygirly a dit :
Their profile.

Pretty much that, You can also tell by the way they build, nowadays it's just that stupid box and b plank build, they have no creativity :( Everytime i shame a map i make a completly new build i had never tried before if it doesn't work? too bad. If it does? That's great.

definately community attitude.
i could be wrong but the community in 2011 to now is really different imo.
People used to care for everyone, the normal floor check and those moments where everyone was still not familiar with the game. Most of the people at that time were much sweeter.
Unlike now where each room would have an arguement, everyone 'insults' the shaman when he fails or when he is a newbie and basically everyone is not so communicative anymore like how i interpreted back then. ^^"

Back when everyone obligingly commited karma

Also when everyone couldn't figure out how to do a map

And when people taught each other valuable skills

And when nobody blamed the shaman or each other for a failure

And also when the shop design was simpler

yes.

In my opinion, pre server-merge = old player, post server-merge = new player. (could also use removal of super spirit as the old/new cutoff)
