[Map Editor] Geometric form - Circular Grounds |
13 | ||
What is a circular ground?? - It's a ground in its circular form. Is it a new type of ground or is it something that already exists? - It isn't a new type, it's a new property for grounds. What's the idea behind the use of a circular ground? - Initially is to finish, or minimize the amout of grounds to form a circule, it's need a lot of work and sometimes its look weird how it looks like when you finish. For a circular ground using rectangules grounds you have to use more than 10 grounds, and with the new property it'll need just one. Would that be useful? - Whiskypickle a dit : How would this work? - When you select a ground, you could mark or unmark the option to make the ground circular. ![]() The map editor has already the circle ground type, what would happen to it?? - It would became the Circular option of the Rectangle ground and would vanish from the ground list. ![]() How the grounds will look like? - They will look like their current texture, but with the circular form, without drastic changes. Supporting; I can't see what it would hurt having it, it's more options for map makers, could make for interesting shaman maps too. (and tbh i regularly wish for a round ice ground) |

Certainly would be handy, even if it's just slightly. There's always some doubt at what properties some circle grounds have, this would remove that. |

True, true, it doesn't really help unless you have a creative idea that requires circles of somewhat. But you can always try, I mean, it wouldn't hurt to try. */support* |

Without a doubt, this'd be infinitely useful. Although, where it gives you the options of "Normal" or "Circle", I think it should say "Rectangle" instead of "Normal". |
