That deppends... a 2D game with better graphics (like Sonic Generations) would be neat. a 3D game would be kinda like sonic in 3D... you know what it is... but you don't feel like it.

Now, it would be nice if they change the whole game to make a 3D game.
Kinda like an mmorpg game where everybody is a mouse and fights spiders and other creatures. There, you'll find every transformice hat to play with while the main objective is to evolve and be a good shaman.

Let's see, as Haineran said, it would turn to like Runescape, and Even though that Would be pretty fun, it would ruin the aspect of this game. And as Magicalorb here tryed to make others laugh, and failed, he has a point. That would make lag even more and for people who's internet is total messed up ... it would be tragic.

Super Transformice RPG go ! (+1 if you get the refrence I'm going for).

There would be a lot of lag, and if it came down to that I'd most likely quit the game unless it was a seperate version of Transformice completely.

A 3d game means you need a 3d hardware, which a quarter of our registered players here don't have any 3d hardware, so they would lose a quarter of their players, and if it was in 3d it would take longer and more difficult to make a map. Plus, if it's to be in 3d it will be very laggy when mice go through each other.

Ahh god, lots of downloading.

But, I'd hate the graphics. I love TFm for it's flat, stylish ways.

Anyways 2 1/2 D would be cool. 2 1/2 D is a 2D game has multiple "Planes" To play on. An Example is "Little Big Planet".

That idea would ruin the game, that's not Transformice, there are hundreds of games like that already.

I would hate that. I think it's a really nice art style and I think it suits the game. Plus sometimes I like to pretend that it's like a play and all the stuff in the map is a part of the lovingly-painted set.

what about keeping the 2d platforming aspect, but rendering it in cell-shaded 3d?

that would suck. im sure the admins would create a new website or a server and there would still be a 2D version. especially since 3D usually gives people headaches
