Hey guys, it's me Beachking here again with another tutorial.
I decided to do this on a seperate thread since this is an intresting mech.
Most of yous have seen the sticky ground that uses lava. Well I found a ground were it acts like the same but no lava is needed and jumping is required.

I thought this ground would be neat to be used for bootcamp maps or other P#.

Here's a map example that I made.

• @4115042

Here's how to make it!

• Get a ground that you want to make the ''Sticky ground.''

• Then you change the Restitution to a number that you will remember!

• Copy the XML and Paste it in a word document.

• Then find the number and change the number to 5e159.

• Finally place the XML into the editor and there is your ''Sticky Ground!''

Bugs!

• Some bugs to consider as well, occasionally this ground will act like a 9999 restitution lava ground, and sometimes it will send mice to 0,0. Use 5e159 as it's a bit more stable, however I don't recommend going higher or lower than that. If you go higher, there is a much higher chance of being sent to 0,0. If you go lower, it will more likely act like a 9999 restitution ground or it will not give you animation and just act like a chocolate ground.

• Special Thanks To Ykr For Finding This!

Forgot to say this. SO yeah the top of the ground will act like an IR so you will be put to 0,0/Y=0.

Nice find, but nothing new. The lava just bounces you really fast and creates the sticky effect. If there's a corner of a ground between your bounce and the ground it glitches you to 0,0.

I didnt discover this. All credit goes to Ykr, please. Some bugs to consider as well, occasionally this ground will act like a 9999 restitution lava ground, and sometimes it will send mice to 0,0 (even though it's not hitting a corner like holo said). I now use 5e159 as it's a bit more stable, however I don't recommend going higher or lower than that. If you go higher, there is a much higher chance of being sent to 0,0. If you go lower, it will more likely act like a 9999 restitution ground or it will not give you animation and just act like a chocolate ground. Another thing, holo is wrong that it's just bouncing you down and back up I'm pretty sure. @4118160. If its just hitting you straight down, shouldnt it shoot you to the right as well? Just something I noticed.

Tl;dr Read, you lazy ding dong.
