Currently, when you spawn an additional cloud as the shaman, the previous cloud you spawned disappears. But when you have a high internet ping, there is a significant time delay between the spawning of the second cloud and the disappearance of the first cloud. Somtimes when I lag a lot, the delay is so long that I can spawn a third and a fourth cloud before the first ones disappear. And just now, I was trying to do a shaman tutorial for vanilla maps, when super dah-dooper uber lag happened. ![]() Maybe that would get Tig to do something about the lag? Nah, he'll probably just nerf clouds some more. [60 clouds, I counted] This is not a great thing, by the way. The same delay that causes the clouds to disappear is the same delay that causes anchors to spawn late, messing up builds. It's also the same delay between the time you touch the hole and the time actually recorded. |

Are you suggesting Tig should buy better servers, or that the cloud spawning mechanism should work differently? Or are you not suggesting anything at all? Either way, cool screenshot. |

*Sniff* Smells cloudy.. Anyways, it's not hard to do, even without lag. It's in totem work to be honest.. Idk, if it's possible to do when you lag. To be honest, I am convinced it's not. I lag as in normal. 7.5Kilobytes/sec download speed brings me over 400-600Ping (Somewhere 0.7 Sec delay when going into hole). I sometimes lag from 5 to 50 seconds, while all run into offscreen walls, or stand in same position.. I tried to spawn a lot of clouds, while I was in *Lag mode* But they still dissapeared, when I spawned the new one. It might be a glitch you have there Seeteegee |
