How long do you think Transformice will last?

Judging from the bad updates and not listening to their players' thoughts on it. I would say a year or two.

"Bad Updates" is opinion based. Every update will have its side of people who like it, and people who don't.
And not listening to the players' thoughts? They gave us the options/changed the mouse name from the original change, right? Definitely not listening to us, huh.

It is opinion based, thats not the topic though and, yes. They aren't in a majority of their decisions. They are making the updates while not thinking about how this would affect something like for example the fight minigame. They added the hardmode to it and then the skills. This is going downhill pretty fast.

Bots are not official. It's not my problem and I'll NEVER take bots stuff in consideration.

They're working on taking bots completely out of the game. And it's not their responsibility to do stuff with bots, since they're not official. They have more important things to do.

Even if the bots are not official.. There are people who still play the minigame, the addition of the skills to the dual is stupid many people opposed to this decision but he doesnt care which makes him careless. Also "important things" Yea, they're working on more shitty updates. Ever since the skills update Transformice is turning into shit.

Again, ~opinions~ and doesn't mean Transformice is turning into "s***." There are plenty of people who enjoy the shaman skills, for example, and you can't say that the majority doesn't, because the playerbase is multi-million.

And think of it this way, the admins are making their game, they have plans for what they want to do next. They don't want to spend extra time to fix things that are breaking bots that weren't intended anyway.

Although I do believe that bots were much more effective at minigame creation, they had problems every time that tig updated the game :P when lua gets updated to track stats (basically a database for player data) + toggleShamanSkills(true/false), minigames will be back to their former glory (and probably even more stable since they won't break with every update). Whether or not that actually happens is up to tig however, so until then petition for such updates to lua to happen...and feel free to have your opinions. However don't expect people to treat you kindly for them xD

Just because of the bad updates and stuff I dont think maybe it'd not last long. People will get used to it very soon anyways. I dont see why the game is so bad after all with all the updates. Im having fun playing. And I see alot of people still having fun too.

But I also think maybe it could last. The game is very fun and has many players. Its better than most online games i've played.

to be honest, i have to admit this thread is abit *IN MY OPINION dont hate me :c* rude.
you are like conviencing mice to think the game will end soon, THAT is the one that WILL make the community die, as well as the game. So yea... if you are going to think negatively, others will follow.
But back to the point..
i would say i dont know.
but talking about myself, i would stay in the game, like stay forever.

It's been around for years now. I doubt it'll go anywhere, even if it loses some players. Unless the owners get bored with it, that is.

I'd give it a solid four to five years. While I disagree about the recent updates being (I personally feel like the Shaman Skills were better than expected.) shitty, the game has only gotten worse overall since Sydoline joined the Dev Team. The recent loss in EN Moderators has brought an increase in hackers. Most of the ex-En Moderators I've spoken to say that their reasons for leaving were Sydoline being disrespectful, or selfish.
Oh, and I don't think Transformice will end. I think it will go into a complete state of disrepair. Noobs will fill the servers, after all of the veterans and 'pros' have quit the game, due to repetitive bad updates. Unless Atelier801 decides to look into the Suggestions sub-forum and grab a couple of the most popular ideas, Transformice is going to remain on this downward spiral.

Tig just gets bored working on a game for too long. And I can't blame him, he has a lot of ideas that he wants to work on. But..
