Since we're entering the domain of timed mechanics, why not ease in new concepts as well?

Many original and fun concepts, especially for shaman maps, are often rejected and for good reasons: nobody knows what to do. What's a very simple, comfortable, and familiar way to steer players in the right direction when introducing these concepts? Arrows.

It's sort of like a mini-tutorial at the beginning of these particular maps: arrows can be spawned which point to key features of the map (for example, IF grounds). If there are more then one key feature (for example, immovable ground that must be connected to the IF ground), more arrows can be spawned sequentially to lead mice in the right direction.

It's nice, but why leave it at arrows? If we're expanding on automation, it would be really cool to get a timeline of sorts, on which you can put "markers", which would indicate to spawn/despawn an object (any object, though arrows would be most useful for your example) or a ground. Anyway this is just what comes to mind for me when reading your suggestion. I like it.

perhaps you can make a more generalistic timed mechanic suggestion : )

I would simply like to use arrows at the very least (and less is more likely when we're dealing with Tig, of course) to coax players into some really cool concepts.
