There should be a feature like a wishlist for your mouse.I think you should be able to add items to your personal wishlist, there the player can see how much cheese they need before they can buy the item and when they have enough cheese maybe an in-game popup. This could also be changed to maybe cheese/saves needed untill next title too. I think it would give mice something like a goal to work towards.
