To be honest, when I think about it- we are suppose to grind long and hard to recolor an item, when its worth 2k worth of cheese. I mean, we could buy a color or tail accesory with that....and comparing to the fraise price, it would seem that 1k sounds more reasonable. This is just a complaint on the coloring prices, I guess...

You do bring up a good point. The most recent tail items are 2k cheese but 200 fraises, while customizations are only 20 fraises yet the same price. Because of my dyscalculia I never looked at it until this because numbers freak me out yo.

It's because tail items are new they havn't been out for that long being new they would have to have a high value

The point is to make it harder so that you would enjoy it more when you actually got it. Atleast thats what i think. Considering with some games it can take up to like a year before you get anything good, So i think a week or two is nothing.

Your point is very true but they just splatter random prices for cheese on those items that cost 40 fraises. When the hairstyles were released it seems that 100 cheese = 10 fraises (Because the item was 400 cheese/ 40 fraises.) So if customizing items is 20 fraises, wouldn't that mean that it would only cost 200 cheese? Same with that horrid frog hat. It cost 100 cheese/ 10 fraises. So if it were to be 20 fraises, the item would cost 200 cheese. But let's be realistic, I wouldn't see a point to pay 20 fraises if we can just pay 200 cheese >.>

They do this to make money which isn't really a bad idea, but I think 2k cheese is a little much still

There really isn't a ratio or scale like 10 cheese = 1 fraise or anything of the sort. At first there kind of seemed to be, but as items came out and you scrolled though the shop it is rather apparent that random prices are slapped onto everything.

2k cheese for a customisation is steep, but they won't change this because the reason it is that high is solely to encourage people- especially new people- to buy fraises so they can have a cool looking mouse. And since the cheese numbers total up hella fast even some older players would consider them.

I however would much rather simply gather cheese as it gives me a reason to do so. I'm out of hardmode titles because the admins refuse to add more and I'm also working on the last couple shaman and cheese titles sooo there will hardly be any reason for me to continue gathering stats anyway. Guess the ridiculous prices are good for me in some way.

Well its too bad.... a new player would have to go through hours and hours of playing just for about 1-200. Its like about 1 cheese per 2minutes, so a player could get at least 30Cheese, more or less an hour. Unless you REALLY want cheese, you'll have to go with only two mice a room. But in the end, the only way you can get alot of cheese without thinking is by actually having fun with the game instead of being stuck up with your goal. GOODLUCK, NEWBIES!

I've always just thought buying colors with cheese was simply not an option and this was the one thing you definitely needed to buy fraises for because the cheese cost for one or two colors on a single item is simply not ever worth it

There's no way you can change the price to be lower without causing a war. The players who spent their 2,000 hard-earned cheese would no doubt feel anger, due to paying a higher price.

Plus, as said before, it's one way to convince players to buy fraises and earn some money. You can't get mad at the admins for wanting money like every other person in the world, though. I'm sure they're using this money to improve their games.

I wouldn't say it would cause a war. Other things have changed, such as when bootcamps first started to count on CFM, many people farmed easy maps, which now don't play as much. Or how map 0 used to play every 5-10 maps multiple times in Vanilla.
