okay I already know this thread is going to be locked and I'm probably going to get muted for stating my opinion on this but
like, the admins said that the community platform would be back up every seven minutes
well it's been like five hours???

i'm sorry. but there's so many errors and it's been up for nearly a week and it's still not fixed..

i understand that coding is hard (i code myself but i don't code major gaming sites or gaming sites. just things on sites such as layouts and sites themselves) and that it sometimes can take days, weeks or months (ive coded something that took me a month before.) and i understand we're going to have to be patient

but?? i mean ??

some of the members are really young and they don't get all this so you're going to have threads about "whispers are down!! OMG I DONT HAvE A TRIBE!! whered mY FRIENDS LIST GO!?!?!?!? oMG UR ADMINS R SO MEAN" well

i think you should have another server js like one without the update but with the same accounts and stuff (although it'd probably take a while sorry omg) like it could have some of the platform effects but not as..many so people can use while the games down just saying sorry this is my opinion

i understand that in france the admins are sleeping atm and most of us have to wait for the morning to come (atour time) (which you should probably add in some admins for the us times but then you could have other problems so sorry im trying to help??? imsorry)

then they send us updates "it's working!" but it stops working during the afternoon

I agree, or test it on a beta server where members can log in (on an alt account) and they have unlimited cheese and fraises, as a reward for going on that server (and the cheese/fraises only work on that server) for beta testing updates and bugs before it goes live.

Concerning the sentiments of this post. I agree. I do think that tig should have a private server and beta testers to test this sorta thing before it goes out to everyone. A LOT of people would be willing to help out with that...but sitting around with the actual game broken kinda sucks...

i agree but tbh i don't think it'll be fully able to be used on here for a long while because it's caused so much bugs and the admins have yet to find what's the problem and this could take ages

but then that would make some people not as much interested in transformice because some people tend to only like things when they're new.

I think meli has said before that they work on a private/beta server and on there this update works fine, but crashes (as noted it crashes in mid afternoon my time anyway) whenever a ton of people get on
it could also have a queue like it did in the beginning when loading the server but that might take forever

plus the beta testers would probably be chosen by the admins, seeing as they'd have to be trusted i suppose so. the actual game isn't really broken; we just can't communicate with any of our friends despite using the forums which some people don't use and don't work for sometimes

Well I guess it doesn't necessarily have to be a private beta test, it could be a public one on a special server, if you get what I mean.

Something needs to change, because all these bugs and no noticable change after day and day of this. Its getting tiring and eventually Transformice will quickly start losing its population.

beta testers cant help the fact that the community platform cant help this many people
it was already beta tested.

I agree, i've notcied a huge decrease in players. I used to play this game 15 hours a day during the summer and had no life, now even i feel like quiting.

okay, it's been over 12 hours now and it still hasn't been fixed

Now I don't even care about the bugs anymore; just make the Halloween event worth our time. <3

It does seem to be working now though, I've been on for hours without a single friendlist or tribe problem, so I think it's safe to say that for the most part it's fixed, some minor stuff like repeating are still broken but its not really a pain
and, and, and ITS BEAUTFUL the ignore works \0/ I can live again

We are really trying our best, but with such high numbers, everything that could go wrong just did. We've pulled a great amount of extra hours to try to get the Platform more stable, and everytime we think we're close, another huge intergalactic bug comes in our way. I understand. You've got a bunch of members there fixing this (it's fixed right now but it'll probably shut down later). It seems pretty stable at the moment but I'm on a school computer and I'm not that good at checking.

The players who've left will probably come back eventually. You can't leave a site forever.

This might come out of the blue, but you need to have an announcement on the login screen. (where you have the nicely drawn images). This way players that don't look at the forums, know what is going on aswell. I noticed a lot of under-informed people, asking what is going on and why they lost their tribe and cant whisper.

It tends to work in that time because not as many people are on (due to school or work I'm assuming) and its night-time for some people.

I think if you fix everything with the new update if you just wait around it will become even better! some may even come back, it's already an amazing update.

Also may I say thank you for fixing the tribe house bug :D
