There should be an indicator somewhere which tells the player whether they have obtained their cheese or not, apart from on the mices back, sometimes it's hard to see especiallly in a group, so somewhere on the screen would be a big help.

The level up things are pretty much indicators.

That could be a good suggestion, but if you enable sound effects, when you touch the cheese, it will have a sound "poof"
