I would like a map editor that does not mess up my chat window and that has all of the more recent features, such as drawing lines and despawning grounds built in.

I wanted to see if it was possible to begin with so I toyed around in photoshop until I got a more or less working design, which you can see in the animated .gif displayed above.

I'm very curious as to what you think of this. If needed I'll elaborate the explanation in this thread later on.

Lemodile, you and the suggestions like this you've made really prove you deserve a position like lead UI designer for Atelier 801. This suggestion is great, far better than the existing map editor, and I would love to see it. Support!

Lines are lacking lots of things,

you see to be only targetting the JD lines here which are used for art @@

Although I'm not too sure which part is confusing to you, I can only acknowledge that JPL, JR and JP are currently missing. I'm not too sure (yet) if and how to add those, since they're quite complicated to explain and use properly. If you have any ideas on this I'd love to hear them!

Just an idea: what if you make the chat a bit smaller? Not as small as it is now of course, it would make everything else useless, but some extra space may come in hand.

I create a lot of maps, but I really want the line creator tool, it would make everything a lot better!
I haven't yet figured out how to turn ordinary maps into scroll maps, if this doews not exist, it should! If it does, somebody please tell me how D:
