Allow all registered players to log in to forum

Currently there is a restriction which only allows players who collected more than 100 cheese to log in to the forum. However, this also restricts new players' access to their tribe's forum. Any registered player should be able to log in and only posting (and reporting) should be restricted.

By limited posting, do you mean that they can't post at all or is there a limit? If they can't post, what's the point of logging in? The only thing they could do would be to fix up an avatar.

All users deserve to get first hand information regarding Transformice instead of just hearing from a friend as the information could be corrupted. I agree, posting and reporting should be restricted.

The reason the 100 cheese limit was added was about mm... 2011. Modmj was busy spamming his shit and he would evade easily. So sentinels asked Tig to implement a cheese limit to rid us of evaders. Modmj didn't feel like getting cheese, problem was for the most part resolved.
Now, of evasions, it's SLIGHTLY more difficult because the mute is on the IP, but if you have a dynamic IP that point is moot. But it's something more now.

Reporting is restricted as is, I believe. I was on an alt to access it's tribe forum and I was unable to report a thread. I was talking with a sent at the time and just said jokingly "hey check your reports," to which they replied "I don't have any." So I tested it across a couple other accounts with the same result.

I support this. I think it's a great idea.

that's probally a bug Haru, I seemed to be able to report on my alts last time.

However I think it would be nice if you didn't need cheese to post in your tribe subforum

New accounts can already log in onto the forums. This suggestion is 3 years old.
