I was curious if anyone else is having this problem. My tribemates and I cannot watch videos together in the tribehouse. When we enter the video link it says "/music = music off" and no matter how many times we type "/music" to turn it back on, we get the same message.

Does your URL start with http or https?

try typing /musique ? instead of /music

Command does the same thing; changing it's spelling isn't necessary. That's the equivalent of trying /ami instead of /friend.

They don't do the same thing.

/musique plays music or videos
/music toggles the sound of the music stream on and off

To the original poster:
The "/music = music off" message only appears when loading a sound file, not a video. (That message doesn't do anything, it just tells you that you can use /music to turn the sound off).

What link are you using to load the video? You should use the URL of the youtube page that the video is on (copy it from your browser's address bar), it looks like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=some-letters-and-numbers

Try this one:

If you try to use a youtube embedding link/youtube link from another web page, it probably won't work. (If you get the "/music = music off" message, it means that the game fails to recognize it as video link and tries to load it as music stream.)

True, I forgot about that (ref /musique), thank you for reminding me.
But I do believe /music = music off appears when videos loads. I can't recall. I'll check soon.

It only appears when I paste in a video. And the video url is more of a shortened one, a mobile one if you will.

Hmmm, refresh maybe? This has happened to me on my alt and a simple refresh worked for me.

I've been having this bug. It doesn't have endscreen, or https. videos work fine for my friend and no matter how many times I relog it fails to work. I am SC.

Nope. I can watch/hear it on Youtube just fine.
