I just noticed the new 'enable minimalist mode' setting in the configuration menu, and I think it's kind of cool. But I think some of the simplified textures are a little bit too..... basic.

My suggestion is to make minimalist mode display normal textures for different grounds, (basically no backgrounds or foreground objects) or at least have the option to turn ground/map object display on or off. Even better, maybe there could be a minimalist mode option to make all ground textures look more simple like they did back in '10. I'm probably not the only old school Transformice player who misses the old style of object and ground textures from the early days.

It's kind of a minor suggestion, but I think it would be pretty neat.

Minimalist mode has one sole purpose, and it is to reduce lag. With that being said, I don't think they would add any other textures, just because it's not convenient.

Yeah. I agree with Primeside.
The only "good" thing about it is that its great for ppl who want the 2010 grapics back. :/

The whole '2010 textures' thing was just a secondary idea I had. It wasn't really the main reason.
