Hi mice! Today i will be telling you my personal suggestion. Now, before i start, to let you know that this has not been implented yet, but will soon. When someone changes their username, just add that no one else can have that old username. Like say if i have changed mine, and someone took the username, i will get kinda mad, considering there are some very mean mice out there, and if they take any user, they will most likely tease with that username like, here is an example.

[your username is now ___ and it is no longer Fabillia]

*someone makes an account* haha, fab changed her user, now lets screw around with her username!

*says racisim and trash language*

See what i mean? for more information with the soon update with username changing, you need to possibly pay fraises.

I assume the other username will be placed onto an account and locked so you can't be impersonated.

I really want to change my username. I made a bad option when choosing this. I sometimes get "Is your name Will, Willa, Will a God, he Wills a God to do something, etc." Only thing:Can you just pay about 500 or more CHEESE, cuz I really don't want to pay for fraises.

Well, i will explain this the clearest way i can. When you change your username on other games, it usually says "This username is now avalible" like that. Then someone wants to take your user and screw around with it.

I wouldn't like someone else to be able to take my username if i changed it because they could pretend to be me and make all my friends hate me by doing mean stuff.

Isn't it already hard to make up a new username because so many are used? tho it's kind of like making a side account we're not using........ I'm hoping we could delete our accounts we don't use anymore......

This is a valid point. Since you changed your name, there is no need to worry about what someone else will do if they take your old name. They will get banned and you will have a new username anyways so, who cares?

I'd also like to add that maybe for 10 days after changing your username, there should be something added to your profile that says "Formerly known as ______" So people know you've changed your name.

I really want something like Kokoroinu or Kokoroneko. But, so no one could pretend to be us, our friends should get a notification, like:

"Kayleekitti has changed her NickName, and is now Kokoroneko."
And I also think there should be a small section, called "Friend Notifications" and it'll remind you which friends have changed their usernames, so they'll know exactly who you are.

That's a better idea than not letting anybody else use your old username. This would leave even more unavailable names and probably lead to many trash accounts, which would be the same as everybody making a new account.

Agree.
And as i said i wouldnt want someone else to take my name, even if it did notify your friends. Cause maybe someone you know but isnt on your friendlist doesn't know you changed your name and it isnt you, and the person with your user starts being rude.
Maybe on your profile, after the day you joined, it could say when you changed your username and what your old username was

Ah, but wouldnt it be better if there was a 'switch account' button instead? Like, make a new account with a new nickname , then use it, but using the same skills, totem, etc.??????
