I would like to suggest the PIN for TFM transaction. The PIN will include 4 digit numbers of your choice, for example 1579. And it will work like the password: you change PIN with your email. In case you forget your PIN, you just need to simply change it, TFM does not require you to enter the old password to change for a new one, and I think it should also be applied to the PIN. After you click on "Change your PIN", the system will ask you to enter the code that is sent to your email, and then you can change your PIN. How does this PIN work? Whenever you purchase an item (with either cheese or fraise) a small window will pop up and ask for your PIN, the transaction could only continue if you enter the correct PIN. The use of this PIN is to protect you from losing cheese or fraise when someone get on your account; they would need this PIN to mess up with your "money". This also give you more comfy when switching account with friends because you just need to give them your password, not your PIN. I don't think it should be optional. It's for the better of your privacy and security. If you friend ask for your password, that's maybe fine; but if they ask for your PIN, it's really a problem. |

Although extra security may be useful, the real problem with security here is the people visiting phishing sites, falling for the same crap over and over. |

@Haruhistastic: you can send the notepad that store your pin to desktop so you don't need to scan for it. Anyway, if you don't remember your PIN you could always reset it. |

Haruhitastic a dit : Usually due to human error but okay :P Really, if there is a security problem here, it's a human one. |

Sometimes human couldn't be aware of protecting their security, so such protections as pw or PIN would be necessary. |
