Hello, this is a suggestion I've been pondering for a while, and its a mingame suggestion on... ![]() In successfully using shaman skills and totem making, mice can now advance in a new technology; Dandelions! Basicly, it's a minigame for mice to be the master of the skies. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ![]() The process is simple. Mice will spawn, obviously at the beginning of the map, but then must approach or go past the dandelion plant to equip the dandelion seed. The map itself is elongated, like of that in many Event maps or Defilante maps, for example. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ![]() After the mouse passes by the mother plant, the seed will carry the mouse grasping it. The player would be able to maneuver using the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D keys. Every single mouse would be the default mouse, meaning no clothing equipment. The movement of the dandelion with the mouse is slow, but graceful and swift. With its speed and volume, players must use coordination to avoid obstacles, also known as grounds. If the dandelion collides with a ground, it will automatically disappear (no extra animation of it doing so), and the mouse will fall (especially with the water grounds of course). If the mouse falls, they must go back to the base dandelion to retrieve another seed to fly with to earn credit, however, this may be difficult if they are halfway through the map and with limited time, so you must be patient and cautious while flying (They also have the risk of death when loosing altitude). The reason why is that dandelion seeds are fragil, and damaging your aircraft will result in falling. If they are without the dandelion seed and go into the hole with the cheese, they will not earn credit. The cheese must be around the hole to allow players to receive the cheese while also holding onto the dandelion seed, then enter the hole for credit. When the player has the cheese while flying, they will start to sink slowly because of the weight. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* What are credits? Credits for titles of course! Here's the title list: Achievement Titles __________ ______ Complete 100 Flight maps Light Mouse Complete 200 Flight maps Feather Mouse Complete 300 Flight maps Brave Mouse Complete 400 Flight maps Seedling Complete 500 Flight maps Glider Complete 600 Flight maps Pilot Complete 700 Flight maps Navigator Complete 800 Flight maps Flight Leader Complete 900 Flight maps Lone Flyer Comeplete 1000 Flight maps Dauntless Complete 1100 Flight maps Flight Master _____________________________________ The rewards are both cheese and titles. The titles listed may be altered if desired later on if placed in game. Then, the amount of flight maps you've completed will be placed into your profile underneath Bootcamp. For example, ![]() _____________________________________ If you are still unsure of how the maps may look like, here's an example of a very, very easy flight map, near the ending of the enlongated map, (as you can see what you have to avoid and how to enter the hole without falling). ![]() There will be, of course, a more difficult maps to complete and test your coordination. Remember, these maps intended to receive firsts, it's to test how you can control moving through areas and tricky spots to accomplish your goal. Questions? Concerns? Please notify me below! ~ |

I don't really like the idea of this minigame contributing as a new stat (Flight experience) on your profile. If it just contributes to the cheese segment of a player's profile I feel that would suffice. Also, instead of credits, that you gain after completing a flight map, being used to achieve titles, how about you spend those credits on power ups ingame? For example, 5 credits could get you a speed boost while 20 credits might make you invincible for 5-10 seconds. I do /support this as a minigame that doesn't contribute as a new stat or one that gets you new titles as this minigame sounds fun and seems like it would be one that would be enjoyable to play. |

Irishcow a dit : Creating another currency for special powers seems a bit far fetched for the minigame. I'm not sure if the TFM Team would like to have mice with powers, which is why I kept this fairly simple. What I meant by credits is simply that you get recognized to unlock the titles, as this is already done in other categories. The titles are another reward rather than just gettting cheese, because the maps they go through may be hard or difficult to complete. |

Wolfpuppeh a dit : I'm not sure if you understood me but I mean credits you earn by completing a map that can only be spent in the minigame itself. It's not a currency, more like points that you can spend in this minigame to buy powerups to assist a player trying to complete a map. For example the old minigame Towerdefense (bot ran). The shaman had a certain amount of points he/she could spend on different weapons they could use to kill the mice. Once these points ran out, you had to hope the towers you set in place were good enough to keep the mice away from the cheese for a period of time until your points regenerated. Then you spent these points on some more towers. Also, these powers can only be used in the MINIGAME and not regular rooms so I don't see why TFM staff wouldn't like it. |

Irishcow a dit : The powerups are possible to be placed in it, I'd say it is a good idea to place in. It is, again, up to their decision however if they like to put the idea in. What I'm trying to say is to make it simple and have the base of the plan for now, and then add the extras such as the powerups and titles later on. But thank you for the suggestion. Jemcloud a dit : The moving obstacles could be the ground itself, and the wind currents could be another possibility, and thank you. |
