Now i probably think you havent noticed it but..
Tfm players keeps decreasing
Now there are some players ho quit due other things but..
a big value of them just go to play Boumboum
i used to connect sometime of the week and find more than 60000 player online
Now im loging in the same timezs and i only find about 30000 or 20000

Atelier801 has been scattering their playerbase across various different rooms, communities and (mini) games for a long time now. I remember writing a thread with a similar concern back in may (Topic-280123 ).. It's sad but I do believe this decrease will continue.

Most people that play this game are in school atm, whether it be grade school or college, Not as many people have free time. Im sure come the fall or winter break we will have our normal amount of players. This is however just a theory and i could be wrong.

First of all it's Bouboum not "Boumboum"
And I don't really think they have decreased, the average number of players online bouboum are only 500-1500 though,

Nah not everyone's gone. It's not like they only play BoumBoum now! I agree though I'm not seeing the old regulars now; but still, we go on time to time and we will continue to do so. It's more of the school thing (as stated above) or lack of interests with all the community changes.

I think the main reason they made a standalone for bouboum is that a lot of players come to transformice to play bouboum.
They should have done a lot of research before they made this standalone so it's perfectly normal for the number of players to decrease.

I've just been alternating but to be honest....more of bouboum x.x

But sometimes, I play it at the same time o3o I don't know how that works XD

The AFK thing is true, but I don't really think there's less reasons for people to flame each other; rather they're merely different. I mean, it's a game that focuses on killing people. That itself makes a lot of the players rage and flame on each other.

Bouboum is pretty interesting, and challenging, It's fun, and gives you the feeling of competition and gives you a purpose to try harder and play more, and transformice does not have that anymore, well I am not talking about Racing or bootcamp, but talking about normal rooms, and vanilla.

Firsting has become pretty easy, for those who trained to play good, and hardmode is really easy mode, when you played on it a little and got used to it. I guess Transformice doesn't have that "Challenging" things.. that would make people fight each other to get or win.

People get bored of same game eventually, and leave to go to another (In this case from Transformice to bouboum)
If the admins want to fix this and return players to Transformice (Or increace it), they have to think of something, that would make old, and new players to play and fight for something. The reference system is a good choise, to gain new players, but the game needs more challenge, needs something, that Old and new players could come and play, to fight each other, but still everyone would win something. Like new modes, or new minigames, that would give you points for the game.. I don't know. I will write my ideas later on..

The only thing i'm scared about is that Bouboum makes TFM laggier due to it demanding more memory.

I think I know what the problem is..

No Quests,no adventure.What I mean is that peopole can collect cheese and look cool and chill out?But if you have got all that you want in Tfm than WHAT WILL YOU DO?!I mean you can chill around but no agitation about what will you have to do next..peopole are gone because thay have lost their agitation.
( I might have some spelling mistakes because I'm not from england,but if I really do than srry :P )
